Overview: 
Customer Service & Order Processing Associate is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers and maintaining an organized and efficient store environment. This role involves assisting customers with their inquiries, managing inventory organization, and handling various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. As the first and last point of contact for customers, this position plays a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience. 
Additionally, the associate will verify A/R employee purchasing requirements and communicate with A/R customers to ensure that employees are authorized to purchase the correct footwear on their employer's account, using customer information forms (CIF).

Responsibilities include performing a broad range of duties as assigned, supporting an evolving team and supporting organizational needs:
Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting with their needs, and providing information about merchandise and product selection.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Handle check-out responsibilities at the front counter, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Perform register duties, including processing payments, handling returns, opening and balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of the shift.
  • Serve as the first and last point of contact for customers, ensuring a welcoming and satisfying experience from entry to exit.
  • Process layaways, special orders, and follow-up on both to ensure customer satisfaction.
Inventory Organization:
  • Stock, organize, and display merchandise to maintain an attractive and efficient store layout.
  • Update inventory information accurately in the POS system.
Coordination:
  • Communicate with co-workers regarding any POS and website integration issues and POS order processing questions.
  • Verify A/R employee purchasing requirements and communicate with A/R customers to ensure that employees are authorized to purchase the correct footwear on their employer's account, using customer information forms (CIF).
Store Maintenance:
  • Ensure the store environment is kept clean and neat at all times.
  • Restock merchandise, maintain accurate pricing and signage, and adhere to all company procedures and policies.
Visual Merchandising:
  • Create feature displays that boost gross margin dollars and apply visual merchandising presentations to increase sales.

Requirements and Skills: 
  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred. Bilingual is beneficial.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software and Microsoft Applications.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and internal teams.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory organization and order processing.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address issues and find solutions in a timely manner.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb a ladder up to 14 feet.
  • Must be able to use a moving dolly.
  • Must be able to work long shifts on concrete floor; walking and standing.

Salary Details:
  • Salary Range: $34,320 to $42,640.
