Schedule:ย Mondayโ€“Friday
Hours:ย 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week once initial training is complete

We're looking for a detail oriented, customer focused, team player to join our Accounts Receivable team.

The Accounts Receivable Assistant posts and balances daily deposits deadlines. Provides customer support on account balances to resolve customer differences. Performs a variety of tasks related to maintaining the accounts receivable records for an organization, such as preparing customer statements and handling basic customer inquiries as well as scanning paper documents.ย  Calculates and posts receipts to appropriate general ledger accounts and verifies details of transactions, such as funds received and total account balances. Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.ย 

Secondary switchboard and reception desk support.

Additional Responsibilities:

ย Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  1. Knowledge of general office procedures.
  2. Strong knowledge of business math.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Proficient skill with personal computer and job-related software package
  5. Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines.
  6. Ability to pay close attention to detail.

Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent required plus one year Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience preferred.ย  This position requires a credit check as well as other background checks.
