ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER

LOCATION: PREMIER - FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT (SHAFTER, CA.)

SHIFT: DAY

About the Opportunity:

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager responsible for leading and developing a high-performing Accounts Payable team while ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant processing of invoices, payments, and vendor transactions across multiple business entities. This role oversees a team of 10+ AP professionals and serves as a key partner in driving process improvements, system implementations, and organizational change initiatives. What You Will Need:
  • 5-10 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience managing teams
  • Experience managing Accounts Payable operations in a multi-company or multi-entity environment
  • Demonstrated experience supporting process automation, software upgrades and implementations, or major accounting transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and accounting principles
  • Experience with high-volume transaction processing
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to details; strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of individuals throughout operations and management
  • Ability to work well in a self-directed, fast-paced, changing environment with minimum supervision
  • Remote work not available for this position
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.

Total Rewards: $90,000 - $115,000/YEAR

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
