About RANDYS Worldwide

For more than 40 years, RANDYS Worldwide has been a leader in the automotive aftermarket and one of the nation's largest manufacturers and suppliers of suspension and drivetrain products. Our portfolio includes leading brands such as Yukon Gear & Axle, USA Standard Gear, ICON Vehicle Dynamics, Carli Suspension, Cognito Motorsports, Van Compass, Dynatrac, ECGS, High Gear, Evolution Driveline, Zumbrota Drivetrain, NAPC, and BulletProof Hitches. Together, these brands provide customers with a broad, one-stop solution across the performance suspension and drivetrain markets.

We continue to build on that momentum by taking great care of our customers and our people while delivering high-quality, innovative products that enthusiasts, installers, dealers, and distributors can depend on.

Position Summary

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for growing revenue across RANDYS Worldwide's suspension and drivetrain portfolio by developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and building long-term customer relationships. This role requires a strong hunter mentality, automotive aftermarket experience, and the ability to sell premium branded products through a value-based, consultative approach.

The successful candidate will manage a defined book of business while continuously identifying new opportunities across dealers, distributors, installers, and other strategic channels. Success will be measured by sustainable revenue growth, customer retention, portfolio expansion, pipeline development, and the ability to convert opportunities into profitable long-term partnerships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, industry relationships, inactive accounts, existing customers, referrals, and company prospecting databases.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the performance suspension and drivetrain categories.
  • Manage and grow a diverse book of business while maintaining a consistent focus on new customer acquisition.
  • Develop strategic account plans focused on revenue growth, customer retention, product-line expansion, and share-of-wallet growth.
  • Use customer and market segmentation to prioritize opportunities and focus time and resources on the highest-potential accounts.
  • Negotiate new dealer and distribution programs and successfully onboard new customers.
  • Partner with customers to identify opportunities to improve their business, including product assortment, time to market, service levels, inventory strategy, costs, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of RANDYS Worldwide brands, products, applications, availability, and competitive positioning in order to confidently recommend the right solutions.
  • Achieve assigned sales and growth targets through disciplined pipeline management, prospecting, account development, and execution of sales plans.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and regularly update opportunities based on pipeline activity, customer feedback, market conditions, and expected close timing.
  • Analyze sales trends, customer performance, competitive activity, retention, conversion, and addressable market opportunities to identify areas for growth.
  • Use data and customer segmentation to identify cross-selling opportunities across RANDYS Worldwide's portfolio and tailor recommendations to each customer's needs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, opportunities, follow-up dates, customer notes, and account plans to ensure opportunities are actively managed and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Capture and communicate Voice of the Customer feedback to Sales Leadership, Product Development, Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations to improve products, programs, and the overall customer experience.
  • Build professional, trusted relationships with customers, prospects, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Represent RANDYS Worldwide professionally at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and other sales activities as required.

Requirements

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Proven sales experience in the automotive aftermarket, preferably with premium branded suspension, drivetrain, off-road, or performance products.
  • Strong understanding of the complete sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, closing, onboarding, and account growth.
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality with a track record of developing new accounts and growing existing business.
  • Experience with value-based and relationship-driven selling rather than relying solely on price.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence owners, buyers, managers, and other key decision-makers.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer economics, identify growth opportunities, and develop practical account strategies.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently while consistently meeting company objectives.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
  • Ability to use sales data, trends, and reporting to make decisions and prioritize opportunities.
  • Technically minded with an understanding of the off-road and automotive aftermarket, including key competitors and market dynamics.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and sell multiple brands and product categories.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and work effectively across multiple teams and business units.
  • Experience developing domestic and/or international customer relationships is preferred.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; additional education, sales training, or industry certifications are preferred.
  • Automotive aftermarket sales experience strongly preferred.

Computer & Systems Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience using CRM and sales reporting tools to manage accounts, opportunities, activities, forecasts, and follow-up.
