Job description

Infosys is seeking an Manager - Client Services for its Retail vertical. The individual will lead all client interactions within the assigned account scope and, in collaboration with the Senior Client Partner and Group Managers, develop and execute the account plan for effective client management. Usually, the Manager - Client Services handles a single account or part of a large account with a P&L of $30MM to $50MM.

Role Description
  • Client relationship management and business development: manage client relationships, build a portfolio up to $30-50M, own the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close
  • Client delivery assurance: collaborate with all delivery stakeholders involved to ensure fulfillment of all commitments to the client.
  • Account planning and governance: create the account plan including relationships required, opportunities to be pursued, price decisions, etc.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis; lead client presentations; and manage estimation, proposal development, and commercial negotiations.
  • Partner with the Delivery Manager to proactively resolve people-or infrastructure-related issues impacting project delivery for the client.
  • Oversee and balance multiple projects for the client, including engagements delivered across different delivery managers or horizontal competency units.
  • Drive adoption and revenue generation from Business Unit-sponsored go-to-market solutions within the assigned account scope.
  • Collaborate closely with the Solutions Leader to design tailored solution pitches for target accounts and ensure successful revenue realization and solution delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Account Plan outlining key stakeholder relationships, identified opportunities, expected revenues, and potential risks or gaps requiring mitigation.
  • Provide pre-sales and proposal support for new business opportunities beyond the assigned account scope.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 11+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
  • Significant business development and project management experience
  • Experience in the relevant industry/vertical
  • Track record of interacting and building relationships with C-level client contacts
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience

Estimated annual salary range for candidates based in the US will be$128,000 to $250,000.
