THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Regional Carrier Marketing Representative is a licensed commercial insurance professional with Middle Market Account Management or Marketer experience, serving as a first responder for urgent placement support across diverse coverage lines, markets, and industries. This role engages directly with carriers and account teams to provide technical guidance, problem-solving support, and best practices aligned to corporate initiatives and the critical path for account retention. The Representative coordinates proactive strategic placement meetings, assists team to maintain market intelligence resources, and actively participates in carrier training sessions to strengthen carrier relations and placement outcomes across our region

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties reflect the principal functions of this role, the level of knowledge and skill typically required, and the scope of responsibility. This is not an all-inclusive listing; individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or balance workload.

  • Triage and support urgent placement or problem-solving needs in support of Middle Market Account Team, with broad coverage, market and industry experience.

  • Manage internal coordination of Critical Path strategy session process, scheduling, and action items on a recurring and ongoing monthly basis, tracking, document management, and systematic follow-up for tactical and strategic commitments.

  • Support regional placement initiatives; use data and analytics to support, track and inform

  • Participate actively in carrier training meetings, documenting key insights and distributing to internal partners for knowledge transfer (contacts, appetite, initiatives).

  • Participate with maintaining shared resource library to support market placement & database tools

  • Sales mentality with a commitment to service and a desire to win.

  • Initiative-taking critical thinker who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration and communicates with broad range of key stakeholders (Service, Sales, Carriers)

  • Competent and comfortable with technology with an above average proficiency in EPIC agency management and Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, One Note, SharePoint, Teams, etc.

  • Command of corporate technology for storing and managing files and communicating valuable information for carrier relationships and market knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 Years Experience as a licensed insurance agent with Account Manager or Marketer experience of Commercial Lines Middle Market accounts across diverse industries

  • Experience in office setting in an administrative/commercial insurance role

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Washington or Oregon-State P & C Insurance Producer License Required
