Labcorp is seeking a field-based Key Account (Sales) Executive to join our team inWaldorf, MD!

Responsibilities:

  • Educate, instruct and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory

  • Act as a liaison between the client and the Labcorp operations team in relation to client needs

  • Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to customer base

  • Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service

  • Recommend solutions that are client focused and persuasive

  • Provide account management for client's day-to-day operations

  • Upsell current book of business to increase organic growth

  • Work closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of business

  • Continuously provide educational material to the client base

  • Resolve any customer related issues in a timely manner

  • Meet and exceed monthly retention and upsell goals on a regular basis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • 3 or more years of previous outside sales experience or account management

Preferred Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Job Standards:

  • Proven success managing a book of business

  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus

  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive market

The position is also eligible forbonusand/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
