Position Summary

The Foundation Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue for the AGM

Foundation through corporate sponsorship sales, annual underwriting agreements, digital and

integrated sponsorship packages, and event sponsorships. This role serves as the primary

contact for Foundation sponsors and business partners while developing new revenue

opportunities to support the Foundation’s mission.

The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong sales, networking, and

relationship-building skills who can maintain existing partnerships while expanding the

Foundation’s corporate underwriting and sponsorship base.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sponsorship Sales & Account Management

• Manage and grow an established book of Foundation sponsors and corporate

underwriters.

• Renew annual sponsorship agreements and underwriting commitments.

• Prospect and secure new corporate sponsorship partners.

• Conduct in-person sales calls, presentations, and networking meetings.

• Develop customized sponsorship opportunities for businesses and organizations.

• Maintain ongoing communication with sponsors and community partners.

Digital Integrated Sponsorship Sales

• Sell integrated sponsorship packages combining on-air underwriting, digital, streaming,

and event inventory.

• Develop multi-platform proposals that leverage the Foundation’s full suite of sponsorship

opportunities.

• Stay current on digital media trends and audience analytics relevant to public radio

sponsorship.

Event Sponsorship Sales

• Sell sponsorship opportunities for Foundation events and fundraising activities.

• Secure financial sponsors and in-kind donations for events.

• Coordinate sponsor participation and recognition.


• Attend and support Foundation events as needed.

Corporate Community Relations

• Build relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and organizations.

• Represent the Foundation at community functions and networking events.

• Identify potential corporate sponsorship opportunities through community engagement.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, sponsorship agreements, and sponsor

contacts in the CRM.

• Submit contracts, sponsorship agreements, and required documentation in a timely

manner.

• Track account renewals and revenue goals.

• Provide activity and revenue reports as requested.



Requirements:

Qualifications


• Previous experience in outside B2B sales, account management, or business

development preferred.

• Experience in public media or nonprofit sponsorship a plus.

• Familiarity with digital media and prior success selling integrated sponsorship programs

including on-air, digital, and events.

• Strong prospecting and closing skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Performance Expectations

• Achieve annual sponsorship and underwriting revenue goals.

• Maintain high sponsor retention rates.

• Develop new corporate sponsorship and underwriting relationships.

• Actively participate in community and Foundation events.

• Maintain a professional representation of the AGM Foundation at all times.
