As a Security Officer Bicycle Patrol Driver in Venice, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support residents and visitors while working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, and acts with integrity in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or property concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
  • Prepare clear reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and communicate relevant updates with Allied Universal management and/or designated property contacts.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be able to ride a bike.
  • The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
