Job description

Work Schedule: 
70% FTE, day shift working 28 hours per week scheduled Monday - Wednesday and every other Sunday from 8:30 am - 5 pm. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Patient Access Representative - Hospital to:

  • Enter and verify demographic and insurance information, identify and collect patient financial obligations, and register or admit patients.

Qualifications

  • No minimum education Required
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance. Health Information Management or related field Preferred

Work Experience

  • 1 year of experience in a customer service-related field Required
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare, call center, business, financial or insurance related field Preferred
