Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $21.07 / Hour

Day Time

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site policies; document observations and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services and/or site representatives as needed.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
