LOCAL CANDIDATES REQUIRED - This is a HYBRID position requiring 3 days/week onsite. Only submit LOCAL candidates who are willing to work 3 days/week onsite as required.

Location: Concord, NH

Duration: 6+ months (37.5 hrs/week)

IDEAL CANDIDATE -ย  will be a Business Analyst who has experience working in this BA role with Access/Excel database modernization projects.

The client currently operates with several siloed Access databases and numerous outdated Excel โ€œdatabases.โ€ We aim to organize the data and structure of each of these databases, creating documentation along the way, as we prepare to onboard WWEB to a more unified database system. This role will be crucial in aiding this process. Additionally, the position will support the business analyst with various tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the project. Ultimately, this position will help us achieve our goal of having a well-structured, documented, and efficient database system.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates existing database structure including Access and Excel databases.
  • Develops, analyzes, and documents stakeholder requirements for a new database based on state and federal rules /statutes and staff input. These requirements include both user experience requirements and functional requirements.
  • Works closely and facilitates communications with staff, including IT developers, program environmental scientists, program wastewater engineers, and project team members as needed to develop a clear understanding of the database requirements.
  • Creates database documentation including, but not limited to business plans, entity relationship diagrams, process models, and descriptive project plan documents for the new proposed database
  • Researches and evaluates database solutions and implementation approaches, including interim solutions that could bridge current needs while awaiting enterprise system integration.
  • Coordinates project activities and maintain project documentation to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Assists the business analyst with various tasks to support the project's success, ensuring a collaborative and efficient workflow.
  • Continually seek to improve practices to add quality and value in support of the work and eliminating unnecessary or redundant actions.
