Department: Security

Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an Access Control Specialist that will work as part of a team to provide support to the Security Operation Center. Once part of the team you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks with in the Security Department in a production and office environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
The Security Operation Center operates on 24 hour/7 days a week rotating shift basis monitoring and carrying out duties, which include but are not limited to: overall mission status of the Department and its assigned units, installation security, initiating emergency procedures, and other duties critical to the conduct of the mission.
Responsibilities
  • Must possess the ability to receive and transport messages via radio over a multiple channel system.
  • Produce a daily report, log in emergency calls, and brief leadership using a PowerPoint presentation.
  • Utilize current CCTV systems. Systems are used for loss prevention, crime prevention, and overall general security of the premises.
  • Able to manipulate the cameras and download video in support of the Security Manager's investigative mission.
  • Produce badges and give access to restricted areas in accordance to the policies and procedures of this Department.
  • Follow response and notification protocols in a timely manner and understand threat levels.
  • Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from customers, employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security officers via telephone and radio systems.
  • In the absence of leadership, make sound decisions based on the environment and current conditions.
  • Ensure all systems, both hardware and software, are functioning properly.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff clearly on both a landline phone and via radio.
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Computer literate, must be able use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to generate reports & data in Excel, Office and Power Point and Google software programs (Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc).
  • Ability to read and understand bills of laden.
  • Must be able to work independently or with little direction.
  • Spanish or Mandarin Language Skills is a plus.
  • Law Enforcement or Military Experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with CCTV and Access Control Systems.
