What are Access Control System Electronic Locks?

Access Control System Electronic Locks are security devices used to control and monitor entry to buildings or specific areas. Unlike traditional locks, they use electronic mechanisms—such as keycards, PIN codes, biometrics, or mobile credentials—to grant or deny access. These locks are often integrated with centralized security systems, allowing for real-time access management, audit trails, and remote control. They are commonly used in offices, apartment buildings, hotels, and other facilities requiring advanced security. The system enhances convenience, reduces the risk of unauthorized entry, and allows for easy reprogramming or deactivation if credentials are lost or stolen.
