We have a direct-hire position for a Senior Access Control Technician with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA. No third party candidates considered for this position.

Client is seeking an Access Control Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise access control and video surveillance systems across multiple client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and service access control systems across single and multi-site environments.
  • Support and administer Brivo access control platforms, including credential management and remote access.
  • Integrate access control systems with IP-based and cloud/hybrid camera solutions.
  • Perform low-voltage wiring, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure installations meet security, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with access control and low-voltage security systems.
  • Experience with Brivo or similar access control platforms.
  • Experience with IP camera and video surveillance systems.
  • Knowledge of low-voltage cabling, door hardware, readers, and controllers.
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted or hybrid security solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local client sites.

Preferred

  • Experience with Genetec, Verkada, LenelS2, Avigilon, Openpath, or similar platforms.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, PoE, VLANs).
  • Security or low-voltage industry certifications.
