Security Officer Full Time Access Control

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Doraville, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and control entry and exit for personnel, vehicles, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and incident records, communicating access concerns or irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
