Job description

Responsibilities
Under general supervision, the selectee is responsible for performing a full range of access control and physical security functions, including complex assignments in support of maintaining secure and classified environments.
โ€ข Serve as a collaborative member within the company's enterprise security program.
โ€ข Work independently on semi-routine and non-routine tasks as needed, exercising sound judgment and recognizing when deviations from standard protocol are required.
โ€ข Utilizing the company's Lenel OnGuard access control system, perform cardholder enrollments, credential verifications, adjust access level assignments for individuals, and manage badge activation/deactivations on a regular basis.
โ€ข Monitor and respond to access control alarms and intrusion detection system notifications within the facility.
โ€ข Escort visitors, uncleared personnel and contractors within restricted and/or classified areas as required.
โ€ข Investigate security incidents, access control violations, alarms activations and suspicious activity in or around the facility.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Possessing technical training in advanced security or access control management is also preferred.
  • Must have flexibility to work varying shifts on varying days.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in physical security, access control or facility security operations.
  • Experience in supporting government, defense contractors, critical infrastructure, SCIF, SAPF or other access controlled environments.
  • Experience in operating the Lenel OnGuard access control system, or an equivalent level security management system.
  • Must currently possess and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance, with a polygraph.
