As a Security Officer Access Control in Pueblo, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a professional environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with established procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
  • Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
