What You Will Do:

Provide excellent customer service and support the patient access process across the revenue cycle, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safety.

  • Ensure accurate and timely patient identification, including proper application and verification of patient armbands

  • Conduct confidential, professional interviews for pre-registration, registration, or discharge collections

  • Initiate and complete registration processes, including quick registration for emergent cases

  • Follow EMTALA regulations and payer documentation requirements

  • Coordinate with insurance representatives and interpret insurance verification responses

  • Maintain an error rate at or below 5%

  • Collect, receipt, and secure co-payments and deposits, following financial policies

  • Activate accounts and disseminate records according to procedures

  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in handling all patient data

  • Consistently adhere to safety practices, including proper use of safety techniques and equipment

  • Perform other duties as assigned
