As a Patient Access Associate, you play a key role in creating a positive experience from the very first interaction. You support patients by assisting with scheduling, registration, and check-in processes while ensuring information is accurate, confidential, and handled with care. Your calm, professional approach helps patients feel informed and supported throughout their visit.
You'll collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to keep operations running smoothly, contributing to a respectful, efficient, and patient-focused environment within the hospital.
What You'll Do:
  • Greet patients and visitors in person and by phone
  • Schedule appointments and manage check-in processes
  • Register patients and verify insurance and demographic information
  • Scan and maintain required documentation
  • Explain financial responsibilities and collect payments when appropriate
