Gorrie Regan is looking for a technician to join their growing market in Huntsville. This role will be helping with some of the recent project growth they've had on their federal and industrial business groups. Looking for someone experienced to join their team. The day to day of this will involve the consultant driving to either the Gorrie office to ride with someone or driving directly to a customer site with their vehicle. This role includes: - Program access control, video, and parking control systems - Install and troubleshoot field equipment (readers, cameras, alarms, control panels, etc.) - Plan and manage projects from start to finish - Deliver projects on schedule and within budget - Perform quality assurance testing and gain final project acceptance from the customer - Provide end-user training to maximize customer satisfaction - Carry out all work in a safe, professional, and courteous manner What Gorrie is looking for: - Solid understanding of computer software, electronic hardware, low-voltage wiring, and relay logic - High mechanical aptitude - Strong fundamentals in project management and team coordination - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication skills with a focus on keeping all stakeholders informed - Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word - Comfortable working at heights up to 25' using ladders or lifts - Willingness to perform physical tasks such as pulling cable and mounting devices on various surfaces
