Job description

Job Summary:
Accenture Federal Services is dedicated to helping the US federal government enhance national security and improve the lives of citizens. The Java Developer will design, build, and configure applications, focusing on developing Web and backend applications/services for a credentialing/case management system using Java and Spring-based REST APIs.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• Help build Web and backend application/services for credentialing/case management system.
• Using Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment.
• Join our team of developers building the next-generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Java.
• 2+ years of Java development experience in order to build enterprise applications
• 1+ years experience with using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
• Ability to report to the client site in Colorado Springs, Colorado (3x a week; Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays)
• Active Secret Level Security Clearance
• US Citizenship required
Preferred:
• Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program
• Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework
