Stipend: $60,000/year for Medical Directorship

We have expanded our brand and services throughout Bakersfield and into Fresno, Clovis, Chino, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Wildomar, Murrieta, Temecula, and Los Angeles. We are scheduled to open approximately five more clinics within the next two years. So far, we have 18 clinic locations throughout CA to service your urgent care needs. Job Overview:
For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with the advancement to a Medical Directorship in Fresno, CA.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
  • Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing 4 mid-level providers.
  • Part-time will be a minimum of 6 shifts per month, and managing up to 4 mid-level providers.
  • Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
  • Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
  • Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray.
  • All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
  • Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute

Qualifications:
Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O)
Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
Truly Board-Eligible or Board Certified
CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
DEA Certificate
