What is accelerated management?

Accelerated management is a training program or career development path designed to fast-track individuals into managerial roles by providing intensive leadership, strategic, and operational skills in a shorter timeframe than traditional management training. Job description

Lead Projects. Build Teams. Develop Future Leaders.

Piece Management, Inc. (PMI) is growing and looking for a high-performing Senior Project Manager who can take ownership of major projects while helping develop the next generation of project managers.

This is not a passive coordinator role. We are seeking a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple client projects, and is motivated to train and mentor a Junior Project Manager who will report directly to this role.

If you are a strong operator, decisive leader, and solutions-focused problem solver, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing, employee-owned company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple client projects from kickoff through completion
  • Own project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to drive successful project outcomes
  • Utilize project management and service platforms to manage workflow and reporting
  • Identify operational improvements and implement scalable processes
  • Support leadership with project performance reporting and operational insights

Leadership & Mentorship Responsibilities

This role will directly oversee and develop a Junior Project Manager as part of PMI’s internal talent development program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing hands-on training in project workflows, client communication, and operational processes
  • Reviewing project progress and providing guidance on prioritization and problem solving
  • Helping the Junior Project Manager develop time management, vendor coordination, and project tracking skills
  • Conducting regular check-ins and coaching to accelerate professional development
  • Assisting leadership in building a scalable project management team

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Experience with service platforms or facilities/project operations is a strong plus

Company Description

PMI is a growing, employee-owned (ESOP) company where strong performers are trusted with responsibility and given opportunities to grow and advance their careers.
