Job description

Job Description:
Centurum is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst for our team. This role is critical to our US Navy program's mission - supporting the installation, upgrade, testing, and cybersecurity of various tactical systems to ensure compliance with Department of Navy standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Travel to CONUS and OCONUS US Navy and FMS partner sites (30-40%) to install, upgrade, and test US Navy tactical data systems.
  • Conduct installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Endpoint Security System (ESS).
  • Provide initial and supplemental training on Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), system virtualization, Network Security, System Administration, and ESS.
  • Provide remote and on-site cybersecurity and IT expertise to Fleet locations and support all levels of the help desk technical assistance.
  • Analyze ACAS vulnerability scans to create and maintain unit specific Program of Action and Milestones (POA&M). Harden the Program of Record (POR) system by identifying, mitigating, and remediating vulnerabilities. Provide detailed analysis of input on vulnerability trends and remediation methods to leadership.
  • Support DoD Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA). Complete post-CORA POA&M deliverables. Maintain and update the Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) repository as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Create, test, and maintain documentation for fleet cyber operations.
  • Troubleshoot and remediate network configurations, including Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
REQUIRED SKILLS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
  • Expert level knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices within a DoD environment.
  • DoD 8570.1-M IAT II and/or IAM Level I requirements (Security+)
  • Experience with the DoD A&A process, RMF package documentation, and evaluating systems utilizing NIST SP 800-53.
  • US citizen and possess a DoD TOP SECRET clearance.
  • Demonstrated expertise with the following tools and systems:
    • ACAS
    • ESS
    • VRAM
    • Windows clients/servers and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience with network security, including configuration and troubleshooting of switches, routers, firewalls, and IPS.
  • Experience supporting CORA and developing POA&Ms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally in support of mission objectives.
