  • Implement and monitor the effectiveness of the individualized treatment plans to ensure they are being executed appropriately and lead to desired outcomes.
  • Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and staff development meetings to enhance collaborative care.
  • Document monthly and quarterly progress notes that highlight therapeutic advancements and ongoing needs of clients.
  • Facilitate training sessions to ensure team members are well-versed in program implementation and documentation standards.
  • Provide continued support to clients through follow-up interviews and home visits, enhancing the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible records that allow for transparent communication among treatment teams and other interested parties, reinforcing best practices in mental health care.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and the public, as well as the mental health community, to promote awareness and development strategies that support client goals.
  • Support the creation and enhancement of training materials aimed at improving programs for diverse populations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Riverwoods Academy, you will work with a varied patient population, including both youth and adults facing challenges related to mental health. Clients may be dealing with a spectrum of issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and other behavioral health concerns, offering you the chance to make a profound difference in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon.
  • A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the counseling profession.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) software and familiarity with telehealth technologies.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and client caseload.
