The Department of Internal Medicine - Division of Hospital Medicine is recruiting Academic Hospitalists to join the Division of Hospital Medicine at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Associate Professor.
This is a full-time position providing a unique academic opportunity to engage in diverse clinical experiences at one of the nation's leading academic institutions. The Hospital Medicine Division is a large academic multi-site group with a variety of practice locations and a diverse mix of patient populations. Physicians provide direct patient care, participate in operational improvement, quality improvement, and patient safety efforts, and play a critical role in educating, mentoring and preparing the next generation of physicians.

Job Summary
• Provide exceptional clinical care to a high-complexity patient population on med-surg level units
• Teach and mentor internal medicine residents and medical students while on teaching services
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers in a shared visit model during some weeks

Qualifications
Qualifications
• MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent, from an accredited institution
• Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Unrestricted Texas medical licensure
• Commitment to participation in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and other scholarly activities
• We welcome candidates of all experience levels, including new graduates as well as those considering applying a sub- specialty fellowship in the future
