Position Overview

ASPIRUS ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL in Duluth, MN is seeking a DIRECTOR to join our RADIOLOGY ADMIN‑OFFICE team!

Salary Range: $58.49 - $93.57 per hour
Schedule: Day only, 8‑hour shift
Weekend requirement: Generally no weekends
FTE: Full time, 1.0000 FTE

Responsible for development and management of the department including service delivery, quality control, financial outcomes, resource allocation, and radiation safety.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Science or Management.
  • Experience: Five (5) years Registered Technologist plus three (3) years previous management.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS Registry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Masters Degree.
  • Experience: N/A.

Ability to exercise positive leadership and delegate work appropriately; skill in communicating verbally and in writing and in preparing reports and maintaining records; analyze and solve problems and work under pressure; understand and interpret financial reports and statistical data; work with persons having diverse skills and interests and preserve a harmonious working environment; extensive knowledge of laboratory operations; budgeting principles and techniques; laboratory information systems and other data management techniques; apply principles of management and supervision; knowledge of laboratory safety; knowledge of acceptable personnel practices; supervise many individuals fulfilling a wide variety of job duties.

  • READING – Advanced: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents and respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • WRITING – Advanced: Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS – Intermediate: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw or interpret bar graphs to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • REASONING ABILITY – Advanced: Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
