Job Summary:

The Shift Supervisor at Pet Supplies Plus plays a key role in supporting store leadership by overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts. This role ensures a smooth and efficient store environment, provides guidance to team members, and delivers exceptional service to pet parents. The Shift Lead also helps enforce company policies, maintain store standards, and support training efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Support

  • Serve as a shift lead, and support team members during assigned shifts.
  • Delegate tasks and ensure timely completion of daily responsibilities.
  • Act as the point of contact for customers and team concerns in the absence of store management.

Customer Service

  • Deliver outstanding service to every pet parent.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
  • Promote a friendly, welcoming, and pet-loving environment.

Store Operations

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting.
  • Ensure shelves are stocked, displays are organized, and the store is clean and safe.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and pet care standards.

Pet Care

  • Oversee the care of live animals in the store, ensuring their health and well-being.

Requirements
