Job Overview:
Express Employment Professionals of Ottawa & Morris is currently seeking friendly and dependable Servers to join a local restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a great dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and workstations
  • Process customer payments and handle cash/card transactions
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Please note: Candidates must be willing to work in a team setting, have great communication skills (written and verbal), and must be able to pass a background check.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Previous serving or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable attendance and positive attitude
  • Weekend and evening availability may be required
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts
  • Ability to carry trays, plates, and supplies up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment
