Job description

This Position reports to:
Sales Manager
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Provide sales and project support to Florida Account Managers and customers
  • Create and manage submittals, quotes, and small project documentation
  • Track, expedite, and assist with order management and change orders
  • Analyze drawings/specs and enter quotes through Empower
  • Manage and update opportunities, RFQs, and past-due items in Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Support customer inquiries, warranty claims, and credit workflows
  • Assist with training on ABB tools like Empower for coworkers and distributors
  • Compile project intel and support follow-up actions for large sales opportunities

Qualifications for the role:
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in sales, engineering sales or relevant field with an interest in a sales career, at an University based in the United States.
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
