What are ABA Remote Recruiters?

ABA Remote Recruiters are professionals who specialize in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) roles, such as behavior therapists or Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), for organizations offering ABA services. They work remotely, often using online tools and platforms to connect with both employers and potential hires. Their responsibilities include posting job ads, screening applicants, conducting virtual interviews, and ensuring candidates meet the necessary qualifications for ABA positions. By working remotely, they can reach a broader pool of applicants and help fill critical roles in the ABA field efficiently.

What are the common challenges faced by ABA Remote Recruiters when sourcing qualified candidates?

ABA Remote Recruiters often face challenges in sourcing Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) due to high demand and a limited talent pool. Additionally, assessing candidates’ hands-on experience and cultural fit remotely can be more complex than in-person interviews. Building relationships with both hiring managers and candidates virtually requires strong communication skills and proactive follow-up. Staying updated on certification requirements and state regulations is also essential for successful placements.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an ABA Remote Recruiter, and why are they important?

To thrive as an ABA Remote Recruiter, you need a solid understanding of behavioral health roles, recruitment best practices, and typically a bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, or a related field. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), remote communication tools, and platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter is essential. Outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build rapport remotely help candidates excel in this role. These skills and tools are critical for efficiently identifying and matching qualified ABA professionals to organizations in a competitive, remote-driven hiring environment.

Job description

Bilingual BCBA — Recruiting & Clinical Leadership (Remote)

House of Hearts ABA | Full-Time, Salaried | Remote | $75,000–$95,000

Help Us Build Something Special

House of Hearts ABA is on a mission to become one of the most trusted and impactful therapy organizations in the country — and we’re looking for the right kind of leader to help us build it. We’re not looking for someone to fill a seat. We’re looking for a builder, a culture-shaper, and a long-term partner who wants to help us grow from a fast-rising regional company into a multi-state organization that changes the lives of thousands of families.

If you’re a seasoned BCBA who loves clinical work and loves people — who knows how to spot talent, build teams, and represent a company you believe in — this role was designed for you.

About House of Hearts ABA

House of Hearts ABA provides in-home and in-school ABA therapy to children across Florida and Colorado, with active expansion underway into multiple new states. We are a young, fast-growing, mission-driven company that combines clinical excellence with operational discipline. Our families count on us to deliver life-changing care, and our team counts on us to build a place where great clinicians do their best work.

We’re at the inflection point where the right hires don’t just fill roles — they shape the future of the company. This is one of those hires.

The Role

We are hiring a Full-Time, Bilingual (English/Spanish) BCBA to wear two critical hats at House of Hearts:

1. Clinical Supervision (Billable):

You will carry a weekly caseload of supervision hours under CPT codes 97155 and 97156, with clear weekly and monthly billable expectations. You’ll provide high-quality clinical oversight to RBTs and families, ensuring our standard of care remains exceptional as we grow.

2. Recruiting & Talent Acquisition (The Other Half of the Mission):

You will serve as the face and voice of House of Hearts to the clinical community, owning end-to-end recruiting for both RBTs and BCBAs across all of our markets. This is the engine that drives our growth, and we are entrusting it to a clinician who deeply understands what makes a great BCBA, a great RBT, and a great teammate — because only a clinician truly can.

What You’ll Own

Clinical Responsibilities

•Deliver weekly billable supervision hours (97155 and 97156) consistent with weekly/monthly targets

•Provide high-quality oversight, parent training, and clinical guidance to assigned cases

•Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold ethical and BACB standards

•Collaborate with our clinical leadership team on quality, outcomes, and continuous improvement

Recruiting & Talent Responsibilities

•Own the end-to-end recruiting funnel for RBTs and BCBAs across all states House of Hearts operates in

•Write, post, and manage job listings across Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and other relevant platforms

•Source candidates proactively — not just wait for inbound applicants

•Screen resumes, conduct first-round interviews, and coordinate next steps with clinical leadership

•Schedule and run structured, professional interviews that reflect the quality of our brand

•Make hiring recommendations and partner with leadership on final decisions

•Build and maintain a strong, ongoing pipeline of clinical talent

•Represent House of Hearts authentically as a hiring brand and culture ambassador

•Help shape and continuously improve our hiring process, candidate experience, and onboarding handoffs

Who You Are

•A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with several years of clinical experience and a strong reputation in the field

Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken)

•Operationally experienced — you’ve worn business or leadership hats before, not just clinical ones, and you know how to manage a process, not just a caseload

•Confident interviewing other clinicians — you can spot talent, ask sharp questions, and identify culture fit quickly

•A natural communicator and relationship-builder — comfortable being the face of a company to candidates, partners, and the broader clinical community

•Highly organized and self-managed — you thrive in a remote environment and don’t need micromanagement to deliver results

•Mission-driven — you genuinely care about families, kids, and building a company that does this work the right way

•A long-term thinker — you want to help build, not just clock in

What We Offer

•Salary: $75,000–$95,000 annually, based on weekly billable hour commitment and overall scope

•Fully remote role with flexibility in how you structure your day

•A real seat at the table — direct collaboration with the founder and leadership team

•The opportunity to help shape the culture, hiring strategy, and clinical voice of a fast-growing therapy company

•Significant room for career growth as House of Hearts expands across multiple states

•A team that values honesty, accountability, ambition, and heart
