Job Description

KEY REQUIRED SKILLS:

strong experience with designing, developing, and maintaining Extract Transform Load (ETL) pipelines and data integration solutions using the Ab Initio tools suite.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Strong experience in design, building and testing graphs and ETL applications using Ab Initio 4. Familiarity with the Ab Initio tool suite and Unix/Linux environments.
  • Strong experience in enterprise-complexity ETL solutions using Ab-initio suite including products such as GDE>Co-Operating System, Express>IT, Data Quality Environment (DQE), Continuous Flows, Amazon S3 utilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Ab Initio lifecycle analysis, designs, implementation, and code migration.
  • Design ETL Framework for an audit and data reconciliation to manage batch and real time interfaces.
  • Develop ETL jobs for automation, monitoring and responsible for job performance optimization using ETL development tools or custom developed procedures.
  • Strong experience with SQL, mapping, and integration of relational databases such as DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Greenplum.
  • Experience automating the loading of data from multiple sources into BI/MI systems.
  • Working knowledge with analyzing and developing optimal code to maintain high performance for processing large volumes of data.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective search features.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to SSA staff.
  • Ensure compliance with SSA security, privacy, and data management policies.
  • Brief management, customer, team, or vendors using written or oral skills at appropriate technical level for audience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's and 5+ years of experience, Bachelor's and 7+ years of experience or 13+ years in lieu of a degree
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
