Job description

We’re growing—and we’re looking for someone to grow with us.

Join a team that builds and services advanced industrial machines. As a Field Service Technician, you’ll play an important hands-on role in helping our equipment get built, installed, and running at customer sites. You’ll learn how our machines work, troubleshoot problems, support startups, and help keep things running the way they should.


This role is a good fit for someone who likes working with their hands, solving problems, and being close to the action. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates, learn how our machines operate inside and out, and grow your skills as we grow as a company. If you take pride in building, fixing, and making things work, this is a strong opportunity to be part of something meaningful.


What we’re looking for:

  • Associate degree or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–5+ years in a technical service environment.
  • Mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems knowledge.
  • Industrial machinery expertise.
  • Diagnostic tool proficiency.
  • Understanding of safety protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • English (additional languages a plus).
  • Up to 70% travel, often with short notice (within two days) both nationally and internationally.


What you’ll do:

  • Performing national service assignments at customer sites.
  • Gaining hands-on experience on the shop floor to fully understand our machines and systems.
  • Training on new systems at both AAE locations (Helmond, Netherlands and Morrisville, NC)
  • Installing and commissioning machines at customer locations worldwide.
  • Performing maintenance and modifications on-site.
  • Supporting the assembly and service teams when working at an AAE location.


* This position requires a valid passport that remains in effect for a minimum of 6 months. *
