The Home Security Installation Coordinator is a critical role responsible for the efficient scheduling, tracking, and closure of all new system installations performed by our field technicians. This role serves as the central communication hub between the sales team, the member, the field leads, warehouse staff, and the billing department. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed accurately and within the specified timeframes.

100% Remote, Tuesday-Saturday Schedule

Hourly pay depending on experience and geographic location

*Must live in CA, AZ, NV, MT, WY, or AK

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Job Scheduling and Assignment
    • Receive new installation job orders from the sales or project management teams.
    • Efficiently schedule and assign jobs to field technicians, optimizing routes and maximizing daily capacity.
    • Communicate installation timelines and scheduling details to members and internal stakeholders.
    • Ensure all scheduled jobs adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) or member-specific time constraints.
    • Coordinate Pro Ride along
  • Job Tracking and Follow-up
    • Monitor the progress of all in-progress field installations.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for field technicians, providing necessary resources, documentation, or logistical support.
    • Proactively track jobs that encounter unexpected delays or complications (e.g., incomplete installations, necessary rescheduling).
    • Coordinate follow-up appointments and necessary resource allocation to ensure incomplete jobs are prioritized and finalized promptly.
    • Maintain accurate, real-time records of job status in the scheduling and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Job Completion and Billing Handoff
    • Review completed job documentation (e.g., work orders, sign-offs, photo evidence) submitted by field technicians to ensure all requirements are met.
    • Verify that all installed systems and parts align with the original work order.
    • Close out installation jobs in the system, preparing them for immediate advancement to the billing department.
    • Liaise with the QA, billing team, field technicians or field leads to resolve any discrepancies or missing information required for invoicing.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex schedules and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with technicians, members, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software, CRM systems, or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, dedicated service management platforms).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in managing logistical challenges and unexpected delays.
  • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Member-focused mindset.
  • Experience in coordinating repairs for internet, phone, or home appliances preferred

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Minimum Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED
    • 5 years of customer service experience
