Job description

Position Summary

The Accounting Assistant provides day-to-day accounting and administrative support to ensure accurate, timely, and well-organized financial transactions and records. This position is responsible for assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, vendor documentation, and financial recordkeeping.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Customer Invoices: generate invoice in Mothernode, sync with QBO and send to customer  
  • Accounts Payable: Obtain approval, reconcile, and pay payables with checks and ACH payments.  Maintain Fraud Protection services.
  • Ensure new vendor accounts are compliant
  • Maintain ASI Master Service Agreements (MSA), W9 forms and insurances of subcontractors
  • Perform all bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Accept and complete special projects assigned Accounting Supervisor and Management 

Skills Set Required  

  • Preferably at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Working knowledge of Quickbooks Online 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
