What is an AEM Remote job?

An AEM Remote job involves working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) from a remote location, rather than an in-office setting. Professionals in these roles typically develop, manage, or maintain AEM-based websites and applications. Responsibilities may include content management, component development, troubleshooting, and integrations with other Adobe Experience Cloud solutions. Remote AEM jobs require strong technical skills in Java, HTML, CSS, and AEM frameworks, along with experience in agile development. These positions offer flexibility while requiring effective communication and collaboration with distributed teams.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Aem Remote position, and why are they important?

To excel as an AEM Remote professional, you typically need expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and a strong understanding of content management systems, usually backed by relevant computer science degrees or certifications. Familiarity with tools such as AEM Sites, AEM Assets, Java, Apache Sling, and version control systems like Git is highly valued, and Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) credentials can be advantageous. Effective remote communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are critical soft skills for this position. These qualifications ensure successful project delivery, seamless collaboration with distributed teams, and the ability to resolve complex technical issues in a remote work environment.

What are some of the typical responsibilities of an AEM Remote developer?

AEM Remote developers are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager, often collaborating with cross-functional teams virtually. Your daily tasks may include developing new website components, troubleshooting issues, integrating third-party services, and deploying content updates. You may also participate in virtual agile scrums, review code with teammates, and provide technical support to marketers or content authors. Since you work remotely, clear communication and proactive coordination are essential to ensure workflow efficiency and meet project goals.

Job description

AEM (Advanced Environmental Monitoring) is the global leader in innovative mission critical weather, wildfire and water monitoring and intelligence solutions. We aim to be the world's essential source for environmental insights - enabling decisive action and positive outcomes for our customers and their constituents. Our family of innovators offers world-class hydrometeorological technologies and services, including sensors, dataloggers, telemetry, and advanced analytics and software. Our technology and services empower the communities and organizations to survive - and thrive - in the face of escalating environmental risks.
We're seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our demand generation team. As an SDR at AEM, you will be a driving force behind our new business growth, playing a key role in customer prospecting and generating qualified meetings. This role will be a balance of outbound prospecting and handling inbound top-of-the-funnel leads. A strong focus will be on target account engagement.
A successful candidate is a fearless, self-starting team player who relentlessly uses their prospecting knowledge and acumen to introduce new clients to AEM's offering. The ideal candidate will be able to conduct virtual meetings in a fast-paced environment and deliver results.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Generate monthly qualified discovery meetings and demos for the sales team.
  • Quickly respond to and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
  • Maintain regular and active engagement with new and existing leads through creative communications (phone, email, social media).
  • Meet or exceed the assigned quota of outbound activities and created meetings for the sales teams.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to develop strategic outreach strategies.
  • Track progress on activity and report on outreach insights to management
  • Travel required: Minimal (on-site planning meetings or possible trade shows)

This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the Employer.
Requirements
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in sales development, prospecting, or lead generation.
  • Post-secondary or Bachelor's degree in business or related program
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with CRM, list building, and sales communication technology (i.e. Salesforce, Apollo.io, Outreach)
  • Experience with technology or SaaS sales development (preferred)
  • Highly organized, determined, and motivated to sell
  • Aptitude for learning business knowledge of industry, products, software, services, and markets
  • Aptitude for learning about new markets, customers, and technology
  • Strong bias for action and self-motivation; results driven with meticulous attention to detail
  • Creative and independent, but also thrive in a strong team-based culture
