Description

This contract position is on-site, offering a unique opportunity to provide advanced medical care within a collaborative environment focused on patient well-being and innovative treatment solutions.

In this role, you will play a vital part in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, contributing significantly to enhancing patient outcomes. You'll work alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a dynamic medical practice, where your expertise will be highly valued in managing diverse patient cases and implementing comprehensive care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
  • Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal diseases and conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Perform endoscopic procedures as required
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Educate patients and families on managing gastrointestinal health
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in medical education and staff training initiatives
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Active medical license in the state of Kansas
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gastrointestinal disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
  • 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Level II Trauma Center

Schedule: 24-hour shifts, specific dates

Shifts available at multiple hospitals

Daily Volume: 25 patients

EUS & ERCP experience needed

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified 

Paid travel & expenses
