Step into a full-time opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students across a range of grade levels during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers the chance to make a real difference, working 32.5 hours each week in a dynamic school-based setting near Florissant, MO.

Embrace the rewarding challenge of guiding students toward greater communication skills, collaborating closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, and becoming a vital part of each student’s educational journey. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain in Missouri
  • Completion of an accredited SLPA program
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred, though strong clinical externships will be considered
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Eagerness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassion for working with diverse student populations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to students as directed by supervising SLPs
  • Support students with articulation, language, and social communication needs
  • Assist in developing and implementing therapy materials and activities
  • Document student progress and assist with required reporting
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and families to support students’ individualized goals
