Role Description:

The Eberhard Manufacturing team is seeking a Material Handler for our facility in Strongsville, OH. This is a 1st shift, full-time position. The Material Handler A will be responsible for job duties in the receiving department.


Responsibilities: 

  • Operate Chip Spinner 
  • Service all Production Workers
  • Weigh up all skids for correct piece counts before moving to next operation(s) and notify Foreman of any incorrect piece counts
  • Write out plating tickets
  • Empty all scrap hoppers/weigh up and report weight to Foreman
  • Sign name and place F.I.F.O. Sticker on move ticket
  • Adjusts Tow Motor Forks Manually
  • Slide forks in or out to adjust to the load being handled
  • Pull Dies Off of Presses
  • Adjust tow motor forks to press height and width to accommodate the die
  • Push / pull die to slide off press onto tow motor
  • Use hand and foot controls to operate tow motor to move items around the plant as needed
  • Daily tow motor inspection/safety and maintenance
  • Wash all tooling before putting away on shelves/such as dies
  • Wash Part Hoppers as needed. /No chips in Hoppers
  • Help with disposal of cardboard
  • Operate a power washer


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Tow Motor experience 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude 
  • Basic math skills
