General Description:
The laborer position is responsible for performing general labor work OFFSHORE along with assisting
craftsmen in performing their tasks. Laborers must apply sound judgement and understanding when
carrying out detailed or uninvolved written and/or oral instructions. Must have the ability to analyze
and handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must have the ability
to read and interpret safety manuals and warning signs, drawings, specifications, rigging diagrams and
lifting capacity charts for equipment and load carrying parts. Must display capable oral communication
skills and have the ability to provide and receive oral safety warnings, instructions and task assignments.
This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the
strategic plan to drive success, and will be driven by the client's direction. CCI Industrial Services leads

construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Participate in CCI's STEPBACK safety program and stay compliant with online training modules in
Virtual Training Assistant (VTA/EHS). Review and comply with the various Client's safety
programs.
• Your responsibility includes representing the Company in a professional manner at all times.
• Assist client in general roustabout duties associated with platform upkeep, maintenance,
operations, may operate smaller equipment such as forklifts.
• Knowledge of platform and offshore practices. Must be able to follow instruction, but can also
work unsupervised.
• Work a 1x1 rotation offshore.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to follow instruction/direction from the client. Ability to perform general skilled labor/roustabout duties properly and efficiently, including and up to forklift operations. Knowledge of platforms and offshore operations. Ability to work 1x1 rotation.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required.
• 24-hour Hazwoper training is preferred.
• Offshore/Platform experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• CRANE RIGGING CERTS ARE A DEFINITE PLUS! As well as forklift operating experience.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
• HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
• VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
• LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from waist level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.
• RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
