Hayward is a regional vacation mecca located just 73 miles from Duluth, MN and 140 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul. People come here to enjoy festivals, fishing, swimming, golfing, and to stroll the small-town streets. The area hosts world-renowned events like the American Birkebeiner cross country ski races and the Chequamegon Fat Tire bicycle races.
Facility:
This facility is a solo radiology practice in a smaller community where your expertise is sought after and valued. You'll have consultation support from a nearby group of 16 radiologists in Duluth, Minnesota. The facility serves a population of approximately 8,000 in winter months, expanding to 24,000 during summer.
Opportunity: Radiology - Diagnostic
This is a full or part-time Diagnostic Radiologist position offering an ideal practice for work/life balance. This hybrid role allows you to work remotely 50% of the time and on-site in Hayward, WI for the other 50%, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week if desired.
Job Details:
  • Typical workday is 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • No call, no weekends
  • Generous time off
  • Requires excellent general radiology skills including mammography, stereotactic biopsies, and procedures in fluoroscopy and ultrasound
  • Basic general interventional capability including paracentesis and thoracentesis
  • Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiology
  • Consultation support available from nearby radiologists
