Job Summary

The Showroom Cabinet Sales Associate is responsible for guiding customers through the selection, design, and purchase of kitchen, bath, and related cabinet products. This role combines sales expertise, customer service, and basic design knowledge to deliver an exceptional showroom experience and drive revenue. Must bring an established book of business, including active client relationships and a proven history of cabinetry sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist showroom visitors in a professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Consult with customers to understand project needs, style preferences, budgets, and timelines
  • Present cabinet options, finishes, hardware, and accessories
  • Create preliminary cabinet layouts and quotes using design or estimating software
  • Prepare and follow up on proposals, estimates, and sales orders
  • Coordinate with designers, installers, and vendors to ensure accurate orders and on-time delivery
  • Maintain showroom displays, samples, and marketing materials
  • Build long-term customer relationships and generate repeat and referral business
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Stay current on product lines, pricing, promotions, and industry trends
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of sales experience; showroom, cabinetry, or home improvement sales preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read basic floor plans and measurements (training provided if needed)
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems; experience with design or CRM software a plus 20/20 preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
