Description
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking A&R (Analysis & Reporting) Training Developers with strong SIGINT expertise to develop and enhance training programs for the Intelligence Community. In this role, you will identify and document training needs, source authentic content from classified and unclassified domains, and create detailed instructional materials that support transcription, translation, and analysis. You will leverage tools such as Audacity, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe Premiere to deliver blended learning experiences and assessments. Collaboration with instructors, government stakeholders, and contractor teams is essential to align training with mission requirements. U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
  • Clarify and document operational requirements, training objectives, and proficiency levels.
  • Prioritize and support requirements for training development.
  • Conduct research using classified and unclassified resources to source domain-specific content.
  • Develop instructional materials supporting transcription, translation, and task-based analysis exercises.
  • Collaborate with instructors, government stakeholders, and contractor developers to design and refine training products.
  • Utilize instructional technology (Audacity, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere) to create blended learning experiences.
  • Work with SIGINT technical experts to acquire and validate instructional materials.
  • Design assessments to measure student mastery of learning objectives.
  • Recommend tools, applications, and approaches to enhance training delivery.
  • Coordinate closely with government and contractor instructors to ensure training objectives are achieved.

Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph; ability to obtain Full-Scope Polygraph (CCA acceptable pending adjudication).
  • Bachelor's degree in Language, Area Studies, Education, Educational Technology, ISD, Intelligence, or related discipline; OR four additional years of relevant applied experience in lieu of a degree (minimum nine years total).
  • At least one (1) year of Instructional Systems Design experience within the last four (4) years, including synchronous/asynchronous instruction and use of distance learning technologies (e.g., Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, SumTotal).
  • Minimum of nine (9) years of total experience, to include:
    • Five (5) years of SIGINT or Intelligence Community experience as an Intelligence Analyst.
    • Three (3) years (within the last 10 years) of applied experience developing, documenting, and/or updating training materials following ISD principles.

Salary Range
$75,000 - $85,000 annually This pay range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of specific compensation. Final offers will consider factors such as responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable laws or agreements.
