Job description

Make a difference in the lives of students as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational environment for the full upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams at well-established schools near Brooklyn, MI, with assignments in both Adrian and Tecumseh.

Key Qualifications: Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field required Valid School Psychologist certification for the state Comprehensive understanding of special education laws and regulations Experience conducting assessments, delivering interventions, and providing counseling Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites Professionalism and adaptability in a school setting Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred What You'll Do: Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services Interpret assessment results and create individualized recommendations for students Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop effective interventions Attend and participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and crisis response as needed Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in groups Offer consultation services to teachers and support staff regarding student learning and behavior Document all services, maintain confidential records, and adhere to compliance standards Experience the reward of supporting students' social, emotional, and academic growth in a collaborative school community throughout the full academic year. #p31
