Job description

VISION: The vision of Sandals Church is to be real with ourselves, God, and others.

ROLE PURPOSE

This role provides administrative and organizational support for the Central Worship Department. This person will help create clarity, consistency, and momentum across worship operations, staffing processes, coaching systems, and team communication.

Melody Workman, Executive Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Worship Staff & Scheduling Support

  • Support the hiring process for open Campus Worship Lead (CWL) roles alongside the Executive Director and Campus Pastors.
    • Coordinate interviews and panel scheduling
    • Facilitate communication throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate onboarding plans and schedules for new CWL hires in partnership with the Central Worship Manager, Campus Pastors, and People Team.
  • Provide a monthly update of campus volunteer metrics to the Central Worship Manager. 
  • Provide on platform worship leadership for staff events, studio, and other gatherings as needed

Coaching & Weekend Support

  • Collect and organize coaching reports, providing summaries to Executive leadership, Campus Pastors, CWLs, and the Central Team.
  • Communicate follow-up needs with the appropriate teams and collaborators, and updates to stakeholders. 
  • Provide occasional on-platform worship leadership support at selected campuses.

Planning Center (PCO) & Church Database Management

  • Oversee training and support for Planning Center Online (PCO) and Community Church Builder (CCB) systems.
  • Maintain organization and consistency within Sandals Worship PCO environments.

Project & Team Operations

  • Help keep deadlines, communication, and project visibility clear for team members and stakeholders.
  • Support project-based assignments and department initiatives as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and event support for the Central Worship Department.

Pay Range: $20-$23 per hour.
