Job description

Description of Duties 1. Finishers possesses the solid skills of the laborer classification. The Finisher with Concrete Forming Experience is the entry level position in the Finisher classification responsible for the following. A Finisher with Concrete Forming Experience should be able to smooth and finish surface of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Minimum Requirements

✓ Pass Drug & Alcohol Test ✓ Education: HS Diploma/GED

✓ ✓ Qualifications:

✓ The skills to use a bull float- Must be stable and able to go long period of time, while maintaining good quality. Imperfections in the concrete must be removed, voids filled, and sealed and completely as possible

✓ The ability to perform a broom finish – Fine texture transverse to the flow of traffic; consistent; straight

✓ The ability to run edges – Must be straight, clean, at proper elevation, and slick.

✓ The ability to check rod - Ensuring floor flatness; cut humps and filling holes ✓ The ability to saw cut - Must be straight, in proper locations, must reach the edge of the box cuts at proper depth
