About CM2 Supply: 

CM2 Supply is the leading supplier of gases, dry ice, and state-of-the-art equipment/technology for the manufacturing, welding, medical and food & beverage industries. We are also a FANUC-authorized integrator of automation/robotic solutions. 

Job Summary:

Under the direction of, and reporting to the VP of Sales, the Branch Manager works to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and efficient branch management. The Branch Manager works to build strong customer loyalty and build retail clientele through providing exceptional customer service and support. This position requires a hands-on approach and is committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales achievement, both in Retail and supporting Outside Sales functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Achievement

  • Demonstrate consistent support of assigned branch to drive revenue growth at acceptable profit margins to support and meet annual sales budget goals.
  • Demonstrate penetration into active accounts
  • Support location needs to cover loss of personnel, PTO, and general coverage as issues arise. 

Alignment with Company Initiatives

  • Actively participate in and support strategic company initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Supporting account managers as needs arise
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align area performance with broader organizational goals.
  • Advance technical & safety skills by completing all company assigned training. Both internal training and Manufacture process/equipment training must be at an entry level status

Operations Communication and Execution

  • Safety Compliance 
    • Ensure to follow safety SOP
  • Demonstrate a proactive and disciplined approach to follow-ups and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with team to make sure cycle counts, transfers, and daily business is accurately completed and processed
  • Oversee Route Drivers.  Ensure Route Drivers are meeting customer demands, displaying CM2 customer service, and are a brand ambassador. 

New Customer Development

  • Focus on supporting account managers and retail customers for new business acquisition through branch support and alignment.
  • Utilize company specialists and manufacturers as a tool to drive account conversions and territory support as needed
  • Track progress against new customer objectives and adjust tactics as necessary.

Customer Advocacy and Personal Relationship Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for the customer and employee ensuring needs are met and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Balance and support the organization with PTO management and scheduling in advance to mitigate business disruption 

Preferred Qualifications:

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business management preferred.
  • 2 – 5 years of Sales / Store experience, preferably in the distribution industry.
  • Experience or knowledge in welding and industrial equipment sales and/or field-related tasks preferred.
