Job description

American Driver is actively looking for CDL A holders who just completed school and are ready to work. No experience behind the wheel of a commercial truck required — that is exactly the profile we are looking for.

Training Pay

  • $900 guaranteed every week from day one of training — no conditions, no fine print
  • 4 to 6 weeks alongside a driver who has been doing this for years
  • Real loads, real routes, real deadlines from the very first week
  • $300 orientation bonus paid on arrival

After Training

  • Solo pay starts at $0.56 CPM with performance-based increases
  • Average weekly pay of $1,200 to $1,500
  • Additional pay for stops, layovers, and breakdowns
  • Automatic pay review at six months

The Run

  • Midwest regional lanes — Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky
  • Dry van, no-touch freight
  • Drop and hook on approximately 60% of loads
  • 2,200 to 2,500 miles per week, consistent year-round

Home Time

  • Weekly home time — you are back every week

The Truck

  • 2022 to 2025 Freightliner or Kenworth
  • APU equipped — every unit in the fleet
