Job description

Title: Database/Programmer Developer
Duration: 5-years contract
Location: Overland, MO
Clearance: Need active DOD Secret Position Description:
Minimum 10 yearsโ€™ experience with databases (Oracle/SQL), program languages, and websites/applications development
Knowledgeable of various operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux)
HTML, ASP, .NET and JavaScript, IIS, Windows Servers, Authentication & encryption, Visual Studio
Write code with C+ or C#, Visual Basic, scripts, PQL, SPQL, Web Services
Fortify or some type of software use to test security on programming code/language.
Toad or some type of software use to manage/monitor databases.
Experience with flowcharting and documentations
Developing programming code for serial and ethernet to interface with other appliances/systems.
Knowledge of management principles and concepts as they apply to the development of KM based tools and applications.
Broad knowledge of system design and programming techniques, local operating system software and database concepts in order to obtain optimum utilization of the computers capabilities via a Database Management System (DBMS).
Skill in designing system software and knowledge of computer language characteristics sufficient to develop and/or monitor development of schema to interface with vendor software.
Knowledge of the needs/interfaces of development goals and knowledge of technological advancements in DBMS field sufficient to evaluate cost effectiveness of proposed changes.
Knowledge of DOD, DA, and Army organization regulations, technical bulletins and web development standards.
Knowledge of .Net development (especially ASP.NET), WEB Services, Oracle/SQL Server and database design. Works independently and as a part of a team and has a strong work ethics
Performs user requirements analysis, design, testing, and implementation of MS based WEB Applications and integration of dissimilar systems.
Proficient knowledge of the following server-side web programming languages: PL/SQL, ASP, ASP.NET, VB, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, VBScript and HTML, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, .NET Development software, Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio.NET , Microsoft Reporting Services, and Database Auditing Tools (Log Explorer, Omni Audit, etc.)
Skill in programming of custom web applications based for customer requirements.
Skill in the development and support of web applications.
Skill in coordinating reverse proxy server architecture for applications through DoD CONUS.
Skill in coordinating with ITT (ITBC) technical personnel on server outages, IAVA patch updates, PKI certificates and other TNOSC related issues for Knowledge Management.
Skill in assisting programmers with technical issues and provide guidance in programming techniques and development procedures.
Skill in providing support of applications and supporting updates and upgrades within the system architecture.
